Ingredients
- 1-1/2oz. tequila
- 1/2oz. Cointreau liqueuror triple sec
- 2-1/2oz. sour mix
- Margarita salt
- lime wedge
- ice
Sour Mix
- 1cup water
- 1cup superfine sugar
- 2/3cup lime juicefresh
- 1-1/4cup lemon juicefresh
Instructions
Margarita
- In a shaker, add ice, tequila, Cointreau, and sour mix.
- Shake or stir to chill. Pour into a margarita coupe or rocks glass.
- Garnish with lime wedge.
Sour Mix
- In a small saucepan, bring water and superfine sugar just to a simmer. Sugar should be dissolved. Remove from heat.
- Stir in lemon and lime juices.
- Strain through a fine strainer to remove any large pulp or seeds.
- Pour into a storage bottle. Keep refrigerated.
- Keeps for 2 weeks.
